My son is looking for roommates to live off campus. He is an engineering major and budget conscious. Any takers?
Diane, did your son go to a venue that takes M&G dollars to find out his balance? From what I understand that's the only way to find out the balance. I'm just asking in case he's looking at something else to verify the $ is there.
Hi Diane. The Sun Devil Dining office is closed on weekends -- they'll reopen on Monday morning at 8am. Have you verified through your bank that the transaction went through? If you are seeing a charge and he's not seeing it in his account, you might call them first thing Monday -- it might take a day or two to process, I suppose. Alternately, you might try a smaller 'test' transfer this weekend to see if you can send it through to his account.
looking for some input - I placed M & G dollars on my son's account last Thursday (via online) but he says nothing is showing up - trying to contact the Tempe Dining office but no one is picking up or returning calls. I've told him to go to the offices in Memorial Union but afraid they maybe closed. Anyone with an alternative number or contact person? Thanks in advance.
Just came back from a 2 week visit out in AZ. Coming from Maine, the heat felt really good (still haven't warmed up yet-didn't help that it was 3 degrees this am)... My daughter is a freshman in the engineering program and has adjusted well and is loving life @ ASU (first semester was tough with lots of tearful conversations on the phone). We were worried about the size of the university-esp coming from small-town USA... but, it has proven to be the best move she made! Given the size of the university, there are so many things they have to offer and she is taking advantage of it. From tutoring to clubs/organizations and the fitness center. She made the dean's list first semester and we couldn't be happier or prouder of her and the decision she made to go to ASU :) I have received lots of great advice from these forums and appreciate it immensely! Has anyone had experience with the housing fair ASU is having March 19/20? My daughter and her friend are looking for an apt for the fall.
Hi folks! Even if it does rain this weekend, we hope to see our local families out and about at Tempe's Night of the Open Door celebration Saturday evening -- it'll be a great time, rain or shine. For those of you who want to drop in and say hello, there's still time to RSVP for the Spring Spotlight Welcome Reception that Sun Devil Family Association and New Student and Family Programs is hosting for ASU families. Aside from getting a chance to mingle and chat with other parents and Robin and myself, we have ASU's newly-appointed Vice Provost for Media and Technology Charles Kazilek (one of the driving forces behind Night of the Open Door) coming in as our special guest speaker. Come join us: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/second-annual-spring-spotlight-welcome-....
