Peggy we plan on going out to visit during spring break and look at some options for her. I will try to take pictures and share details with you and any one else interested.
Thanks, Don! My son will be a sophomore next year and he is also looking for off campus housing. It is great to share information when we are trying to help them from such a distance.
My daughter will a sophomore next year (criminal justice) and she is looking for off campus housing. I appreciate reading all the comments on here, it is a help. I will post any information I come across. Look forward to reading any thoughts, ideas or suggestions on off campus housing
Just fyi, a good local bakery is www.honeymoonsweets.com
Would love the name of that bakery Dave! Will they deliver right to the dorm? My daughters bday is in Nov... thanks
Wow, 45 members and still growing. As many of you have already saw with your own eyes ASU does a very nice job with move in days. Some notes from a now 2nd year dad. Make sure your sons & daughters get comfortable with the lightrail, check out the ZIP car information, my daughter was only 18 last year and it was a great deal for her to be able to get around. If you plan on bringing them home for Thanksgiving start looking for the deals now, prices are crazy for travel around then. Being this far away brings some problems, if you have questions or concerns on how to deal with items please post, a few of us may have had the same issue before. Last, make use of places like Staples on line. For the price of buying something here and shipping it there you will find it much cheaper to order right from Staples and send to them direct. They have way more items than I thought they carried. From printers to cakes, snacks, coffee, tea, and papergoods. It's a pretty good bargain. P.S. I also know the name of a very nice bakery in the area we ordered a birthday cake from and had delivered. Hope some of this stuff helps.

Hi Joann. My wife and ASU bound son Tyler are going to the sendoff in Boston/Cambridge this Sunday. The rive cruise sounds like fun.
